Ai sucks.. I mean firstly the ethical uses of it are going to drop slowly along with the monopoly over the business companies already have
Like seriously I really do not like the fact that certain companies just have the whole area to themselves at this point because of cost of running
if it was particularly easy to legally ban it's heavy usage in generative content especially the programming industry
god I would, I can't see it not putting hundreds of thousands out of jobs and not actually providing any way for us to replace them
low skilled jobs and certain high skilled jobs may be entirely wiped clean off of the world, old white guys argue it'll be 5 years until they all die out
that includes programming!!!... god that sucks as an idea, I really hope its just like the progression of industries in the 1900s
wherein like everything halted progress compared to how fast it was developing somewhat 1990 ish, its why they thought that :
in 2018 we'd have flying cars and laser guns and whatnot and be seeing aliens...
if it could just stop its progress like that it'd be bril because then nobody particularly has to worry.. we aren't anywhere near a utopia or a highly developed society worldwide
Like the more jobs you put people out of the less likely it is of immigration which is somewhat saving birth rates in tons of countries
like its just going bad, besides in its current state the only thing it does moderately like humans is art
even in the art field its still doing far far worse idea wise than humans ever will
it's just missing any innovation because it genuinely can't
the only way I ever see it outdoing us in innovation is running constant tests of new code it can add but its so innefficient
like can they just stay out, everything metaverse related is DEAD already but ai is bguh. me no like
