Inside of the UK there are 4 main acts of legislation which protect businesses and the public from crime!!
The Computer Misuse Act charges those who gain unauthorised access to computers or intend to harm them as criminals.
The Copyright, Design and Patents Act charges those who steal intellectual property and especially those who attempt to use it for monetary gain.
The Data Protection Act charges the companies who don't keep good care of their collected personal data of users with a hefty fine (and those who attempt to steal it).
The RIPA act allows Governing Bodies and Large Scale Corpos who have legal precedent to use surveillance of data to catch criminals, although it is often misused.
TO BE HONEST THATS GENUINELY IT FOR NOW! THERES NOTHING ELSE YET AND I WAS ALREADY TAUGHT THIS!!!
Not a big fan not a big fan, uh, not in common agreement with the utmost use that the governing bodies get out of us! uh, not a big fan of the government
