We're regoing over vectors, sounds simple but it took me 4 hours to figure out good god am I dumb sometimes
so obviously theres Vectors and Scalars:
Scalars go up orderly
Vectors are affected by direction so 100 N up and 80 N down means 20 N resultant force
So Vectors can be listed by being Parallell and Perpendicular Components rather than individual directions
This allows us to use Trigonometry (which I dont really need to explain) to solve unfinished equations
Generally its all common sense and basic maths until the trig, then theres a "triangle" Which I wasnt in school for so:
from what I understand, when an object is in equillibrium all forces that are acting on the object form a triangle
Generally 1 forwards one backright one backleft, and you can generally form the whole of a triangle with 1 angle and 3 forces.
it's pretty simple now that I get it
All equations are ONLY made up of Fundamental Units -:
Distance:Metre
Time:Second
Mass:Kilogram
Amount:Mole
Current:Ampere
Its like seriously as simple as it gets, everything is made up of this: acceleration = D/T so Acceleration = M/S
Then theres the powers of ten, which I know from using a computer all my life i.e. 10^9 = Giga
Lastly theres Uncertainties where every equation can list a level of uncertaintly using percentages
i.e.: 10mm with a uncertainty of 0.5mm could be 9.5-10.5mm. This is displayed as 10mm+/-10.5mm
so a cuboid made up of sides: 2m+/-0.1m 3m+/-0.2m and 5m+/-0.3m = 8m+/-0.6m
dead easy
