Ethics really follows the same principles as Philosophy, there's a few different sorts like Meta Ethics, Reasoned etc etc.
Ethics has 2 main forms to begin with, Absolute and Relative Ethics:
Absolute Ethics refers to views on ethics which view the outcome of an action to be the same morally as any other time it happens.
Relative Ethics refers to views on ethics which vew the outcome of an action to be morally different depending on the situation.
I.e.: A Man goes back in time to kill Hitler as a kid,
The Absolutist says that Murder is Wrong!
The Relativist starts cheering!
The Historian worries for the future.
Under Absolute and Relative Ethics there's Deontological and Teleological Ethics;
Deontological Ethics focuses on the intention of the action in deciding the moral value of the action.
Teleological Ethics focuses on the outcome of the action in deciding the moral value of said action.
I.e.: An Influencer gives 10k to charity to get popularity. Figure it out yourself.
